Jonas
Faber is a talented & accomplished Greenland Inuit artist.
He immigrated to Canada in 1974. For the last 25 years, he has
been a feature Inuit Artist for the major Inuit art galleries in
North America and Europe, holding numerous exhibitions. His
soapstone carvings are placed in a permanent collection at the
Royal Denish Family art collection, Ottawa's Museum of Man and
Calgary's Olympic Centre. His carvings explore his heritage and
wildlife with great creativity and mastery. An established and
respected artist with a style unmistakably his own, Faber's
carvings will delight many collectors of quality Inuit arts. |
